Even a small amount of allergenic foods can trigger signs and symptoms such as digestive problems or other health problems that can be severe and life-threatening.
As a mother of a child born with multiple food allergies, I understand how difficult it is to find nutritious food options that are free of allergens like gluten, wheat, eggs, milk, or lactose, as well as nuts like almonds and hazelnuts, which are found in most savory baked goods and dessert recipes.
Over time, I became more determined to find and provide alternative options for the above-mentioned foods, but I was surprised to find that reliable, hypoallergenic food options for people with allergies are not readily available and even those that are, some of them contain traces of allergens or an irritating ingredient!
I realized that if I wanted to see change, I had to be the one to initiate it. I began my awareness campaign, and with it, my determination to find alternative solutions grew, and ultimately, the decision came to create Free Of.
To ensure that the products we offer are truly free of the top eight allergens, we had to research certified raw materials, sterile environments, and other details that took a lot of time and effort.
Free Of was created from personal experiences and the desire to create positive and productive change.
The "free from" entity is more than just a reference to dietary restrictions. It represents a dedication to providing products that many would otherwise not have access to.
